At Optimal Care, Kristyn provides clinical expertise in the areas of psychiatric mental health nursing, documentation regulations, and patient education. She is currently focused on expanding the role of telehealth consulting within the home health setting.

Kristyn is a certified Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with more than 20 years of home health and leadership experience. Prior to joining Optimal Care, she served as a case manager, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, and nurse consultant.

She has lectured extensively on psychiatric home health care, medication management, and legal matters related to home-based care. Kristyn has worked with the Michigan Fraud and Abuse Task Force and has been a litigative consultant for the Department of Justice.
