Supports the Strategic Development initiatives by providing education and information concerning Optimal Care Inc. services and home care in general to the community, physicians and other health care professionals.
Provides and directs the provision of home nursing care based on agency policies and procedures, RN scope of practice and under the supervision of the Physician/NPP, through the competent application of the nursing process.
Provides home nursing care, based on agency policies and procedures and the direction of the Registered Nurse and Physician/NPP, through the competent application of the nursing process.
Reviews clinician documentation for accuracy. Communicates regularly with clinical staff and provides ongoing education. Assists the Chief Operational Officer, Chief Clinical Officer and or Director of Quality Improvement in implementing agency’s Quality Assurance and Improvement Programs.
Provides support services, under the supervision of the appropriate professional staff, which assist the patient or family in the achievement of physical and emotional comfort as ordered by the physician in the plan of care, and the Aide service plan of care instructions.
Administers to clients, according to physician’s orders and within scope of practice, various evaluations and therapeutic procedures and maintains agency records on clients.
